How to execute the perfect "coffee chat"
Referrals are the biggest cheat code to white collar job applications. It comes as no surprise that having someone on the inside of a company who is vouching for you, greatly double/triples ones ability to make it past the first dreaded filter of HR. However, the main issue people run into is two things:
Not having anyone in their immediate network at that specific company
Not being able to tactfully ask for a referral during the “coffee chat/informational” conversation
